URASTER

Created out of footage and audio gathered from the Jewish Museum in Berlin and the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, URASTER is an experimental collage film exploring the relationship between tourists, the sites of memory they visit, and how the modernization of the museum experience can shape the way these spaces exist.Link to view on final page

The final installments in the Babayaga's Bitches series written, directed by, and starring Jasper Mccall and Avi Israel-Davis. Created as BFA thesis films for the joint degree program with Paris College of Art and Emerson College. Jay Carrus

About

Jay Carrus is a filmmaker, experimental artist, and producer born and raised in South Florida. Jay's work focuses heavily on themes of societal alienation, community, and uncovering the hidden meanings in the actions of our every day life. He is highly inspired by the works of philosophy, experimental analogue photography & cinema, and the constant questioning of 'why'.Jay got his start in the arts as an alto saxophonist from ages 10-18. From there, he began exploring his love for cinema by enrolling in the Global BFA joint-degree program from Emerson College and Paris College of Art, where he will receive his BFA in August of 2026.Since 2023 Jay has collaborated with other filmmakers to produce a total of 3 short films with one more which will begin shooting in 2026. He has also self-produced 3 of his own short films and is currently helping to produce his senior thesis film which will begin shooting in early 2026.
